Order Processor Directions - Export From UPS

Below are the directions for setting up and completing your first export from UPS Worldship back in to the Order Processor. The directions are not as long as the import but it still takes a little bit of work, but once it is set up any future exports should go quickly. So let's get started.

You must complete these steps in order though they are broken down into logical sections so you can take a break if needed.

Part 1 - Setup the export format from Worldship

  1. Open UPS OnLine WorldShip
  2. Click on UPS OnLine Connect, located at the top of the window
  3. Click on the Create/Edit Map option
  4. Click on Export data from Worldship
  5. Click on Export CSV
  6. Select Shipment
  7. Enter UPSTOYOP
  8. Click on Create
  9. Click on Overwrite Existing File check box
  10. Click on the Ship To Tab
  11. Click on Customer ID and Click on the Add Button
  12. Click on the Package Tab
  13. Click on Tracking Number and Click on the Add Button
  14. Click on Define CSV File Name
  15. Save the file to C:\UPS\UPSTOYOP.csv
  16. Click OK
  17. Click OK to close the create/edit import export map screen.
You have now set up the export format for UPS Worldship. To export your information and import into the Order processor you must do the following whenever you are completed for the day.

Part 1 - Export from UPS Worldship

  1. Open UPS OnLine WorldShip
  2. Click on UPS OnLine Connect, located at the top of the window
  3. Click on Batch Export
  4. Click on UPSTOYOP
  5. Select the date range you want to export
  6. Click Next
  7. The preview window will show information you are exporting
  8. Click on Next to export your data
(If you always want to export after the close every day you can use the Automatic Export at End of Day option in the UPS Online Connect menu)

Part 2 - Import the data into the Order Processor

  1. Start the Order Processor
  2. Click on Import Shipping Information
  3. Select UPS Worldship and Click OK
  4. Locate the file at c:\ups\UPSTOYOP.csv and click Open
  5. Your file will be processed and tracking #'s and Shipped VIA will be loaded for orders in your export file
  6. Click OK and then Click the Charge & Ship button after reviewing the data in order to update the store
Assuming all went without error, you have now exported your data from UPS to the Order processor correctly.
